The Social Media Breakfast is a free, Boston-area breakfast organized by Bryan Person that brings together social media experts and newbies alike for a morning of eating, meeting, sharing, and learning.

Marketers, PR pros, entrepreneurs, bloggers, podcasters, students, new media fanatics, and online social networkers are all welcome to attend.

Hiring/Getting Hired in a 2.0 World

We'll follow a similar format to the one we used at Social Media Breakfast 5. We'll have four presenters speak briefly about how social media is impacting the hiring process -- from both the employer and employee perspective.

• Using LinkedIn. Christopher Penn, CTO of the Student Loan Network and co-founder of Podcamp, will demo his "power tips" for getting the most from LinkedIn.
• Video and you! Owen Mack, chief of strategy & development at coBRANDiT VIDEO, will record a short video of you and your projects that you can publish on your own site, blog, or social network.
